PREGNANCY AND FAMILY PLANNING

Pregnancy can be an exciting and overwhelming time in a woman’s life. Once the pregnancy has been confirmed, schedule an appointment with a health care professional to discuss your questions and concerns. Pregnancy lasts for 280 days or 9 months, and many changes occur in your body as the baby develops. Once you decide to start a family, schedule an appointment for a physical and to discuss prenatal care; the care you receive from your physician during pregnancy. The initial prenatal visit will include a complete gynecological exam and a review of your family medical history. This is your opportunity to ask questions so that you feel comfortable about your pregnancy. Your health and that of the baby’s will be monitored with each prenatal visit.

Because a healthy lifestyle proves crucial for mother-to-be and her unborn baby, eat healthy, take prenatal vitamins, and avoid caffeine and alcohol.

To learn more about your pregnancy and to seek advice about family planning, make an appointment with a health care professional today at any of our closest LOCATIONS. We have Board-certified physicians and qualified staff who can help you manage your pregnancy and respond to your questions and concerns.
