The mission of healthcare providers in the Institute is not just to diagnose and treat diseases in women but to make every effort towards there prevention. The most effective way to prevent the onset of a disease is to endow women with relevant knowledge and skills to make the right choices. This is also the best way to empower women
to manage existing disease(s) and to play a vital and active part in their healthcare.
The Institute is committed to this mission and offers numerous educational programs that are age-appropriate and tailored to meet the needs of our community. Some of the educational programs offered cover the following topics:
- Sex and Sexuality
- Effective Birth Control
- Family Planning
- Prevention and Treatment of HIV/AIDS
- Prevention and Treatment of STD's
- Cancers and You - A Synopsis of Diagnosis and Treatment of Commonly Occurring Cancers in Women
If you wish to schedule an educational session and/or workshop in your organization on any of the topics listed above or any topic related to women's health, please contact us by e-mail: education@iwhna.org
